Professional Snagging in South Warwickshire
We are an independently owned and operated business. Because we aren’t affiliated with any developer, house builder, repair or warranty provider, we are able to offer a completely unbiased service solely for you, the new homeowner.
Why South Warwickshire?
South Warwickshire is home to the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, famous for being Shakespeare’s birthplace. But this isn’t solely what attracts potential homeowners to the area. Located just south of Birmingham, and north of Oxford, this county is well-connected to big cities and international airports.
Smaller towns such as Shipston-on-Stour make South Warwickshire especially appealing to those looking to relocate with a family and there are various new homes being built in the area to cater to this.
New Build Professional Snagging in South Warwickshire
There is no guarantee that a newly constructed home will be defect-free, but many buyers expect it to be. Many new homes have been poorly constructed in recent years using a variety of materials and contractors in a variety of climates.
It is therefore possible that many faults have gone unnoticed or ignored, such as damaged windows or insufficient plastering. These faults can easily be identified through snagging inspections.
Our mission at Lively Professional Services is to provide new homeowners with safe, functional homes. We understand that buying a house is a significant investment and we want to eliminate your worries about living in a property with potential problems.
Our snagging experts provide an in-depth snagging report at the end of every job. This report is a valuable guide for what needs to be fixed by your builders.
What we check when we visit your home
During our visual inspection of your new home, it is our aim to identify and itemise any defects both internally and externally including any garden areas, drives and garage if applicable. The areas that we cannot inspect will be detailed in the report. Following our visual inspection, a detailed defects report will be produced and sent to you. Our inspector will report upon the main aspects of the property to an accepted benchmark quality standard, normally the NHBC standard both internally and externally.
This can then be handed to your builder to rectify, usually within 14 days, however this may differ depending on their defects warranty period/ procedures.
